This project stems from a profound reflection on the importance of the environment in the processes of supporting, caring for, and fostering the growth of adolescents. The proposed renovation seeks to create opportunities to reconnect interior spaces with the surrounding landscape, redefining the relationship with nature as a vital component of well-being.
The interventions aim to create a greater fluidity between the built environment and the open space, integrating patios, gardens, and common areas with the existing vegetation. Through the refurbishment of the homes and gathering spaces, the emotional connection with the environment is strengthened, and more sensitive, safe, and dignified living dynamics are fostered. Architecture is thus proposed as a tool for healing, play, and growth within the community.
